the power of pink!

it looks like i am the only one here that appreciates all things pink. obviously, daisy doesn't. i recently bought her a new food bowl, which she defiantly refuses to eat out of it. daisy never refuses to eat. never! the minute she hears food being poured into her bowl she runs for it, with some major fatdog force. someday when i've stopped blogging and no one knows where i am, blame the dog. she's knocked me over and i've fallen out the window.

today when i fed her she just looked at me, and waited for her old bowl. i walked away to finish what i was doing. she usually eats really fast and then comes back to wherever i might be. this time, she didn't. i went back and here she was....

giving me the cute "you're my human, fix my problem" look. nah, i wanted her to learn to eat from the cute pink bowl of goodness. i left her there. here she is an hour later....

damn stubborn old girl! whoever said that dogs are color blind lied....

Puppy is cute, but I think skipping a few dinners isn't going to kill her! Pugs are cute fat.

Puggy Daisy is a beautiful princess. She does not need to loose to skip a meal. Anyone who says that just doesn't know about pugs. Give Daisy a kiss for me!!!

It's probably not the color. It just doesn't smell like her bowl yet. Give her some time and she'll love it like the old one. Though how you can resist pleading form a face like that, I'll never know.

annie, the funny thing is that she'll eat it out of the silver bowl when i take it out of the pink container. i'm sure it's that she's used to her bowl on the floor. BUT, you know my imagination, it's the pink factor.

I was half-dozing last night while the FOX! 13 news was rambling on and they noted that iPods will soon be available in vending machines at (mostly) airports. This woke me up a bit as I lust for all things Apple and when I paid closer attention they showed, I believe, an pink faced Nano. I thought of you at this point, Sarah, being that you have a liking for, as you say, all things pink. Was I dreaming this pink Nano?

theorris, fox? have you no shame? i've heard nothing of a pink nano, but i already need one. NEEEEEEED one!

Say it right, SB: FOX! FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWKS! 13. One of their correspondants regularly goes out and says FOX! with such authority you just want to pay attention. And yes, I was watchign FOX! 13 news. It usually hillarious because it is so poorly done.

I'm still checking on the your fantasy iPod.

Ok I think I figured it out: I was in a FOX! 13 induced coma and mistook the Nano for a Mini. They have the pink mini. Some how the self-induced torture of watching FOX! 13 News still makes me picture it as a Nano.

theorris, i'm so sad over the news, my insides hurt....

is it just me, or does that dog have one eye?

Sarah Bellum said...

it's just you. the rest of us see two.

Clint Gardner said...

Was she a rescue dog, perchance?

I'm all aobut the rescue dogs.

Sarah Bellum said...

i'd like to think she is! i rescued her from some horrible previous owners. the eye loss happened later.

Clint Gardner said...

That's a rescue dog.

Sarah Bellum said...

i like the way you think, theorris.

Your little guy looks plain pissed off at the end. How old is she?

Rescue dogs come in many forms: not just the ones from the Humane Society. I've got a friend who regularly rescues dogs from assholes who don't know how to care for them properly. I'm not sure how she does it, but she doesn't confront them about their bad behavior. She's a Buddhist, by the way.
