music by asphyxiation
my brother and i attended the bright eyes concert last night at kingsbury. it was a good night of hipster watching and musical genius. as tim stated, "the room was full of future gay.com-ers".
first band--will mason—acoustic and simply fantastic, not to mention he was a cutie.
second band—sons and daughters of blah blah--the music starts. the lead singer has what we think is a seizure, why is no one calling the paramedics? oh my. she is dancing. i guarantee you this band has the best drugs. but--isn’t there something odd about trying to strangle yourself and your band mates on stage with your mic cord? i certainly think so.
when bright eyes came onto stage it was all worth it. amazing. the set started off with a solo harp and finished off with such madness the keyboard fell off the stage. musical goodness ever after.
